Get ready, Get set, Go! It’s time to Swap till you Drop!
That’s right, time to streamline and clean out your closets. Trade your stuff at a party where everybody leaves with goodies and not a penny is spent! So come on down… and get your “shwop” on!
In an effort to encourage de-cluttering in a fun environment, Cannon Clutter Control is hosting The Swap Boutiques. The Swap Boutiques are themed parties where you can bring items you no longer want and swap them for items you will use.
How The Swap Boutiques work:
- Register now for a membership to The Swap Boutiques
- You will receive an e-reminder one month in advance of the party
- Bring a minimum of 3 items that are clean and in good condition
- You will receive one token for each item you bring
- Once the items are at the swap party, they are no longer yours
- Items will be displayed in categories
- Spend time browsing the items
- Chat with the other swappers and enjoy the refreshments, after all it’s a party!
- Nothing can be claimed until the host opens the swap
- The Swap Boutiques party lasts for two hours
- You may claim one item per token
- No money changes hands and no bartering necessary during the swap
- If two or more swappers want the same item, the host will draw names out of a hat
- Left over items are donated to charity at the end of the party
- Unused tokens do not expire, they can be used at future parties
The Swap Boutiques Schedule:
The parties will be held every other month and each month has a theme. The themes correspond with yearly activities so that the swaps are seasonally appropriate.
Doors open at 10:00am for set up. Swap runs from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
General Admission - $ 5.00 at the door.

Remaining items are donated to Unique Thrift Store which supports The Lupus Foundation, Vietnam Veterans of America and the National Children’s Center.
